A Red Sweater and Plaid Skirt for the Holidays
Christmas is one of those holidays where everything you do, no matter how big or small, is filled with memories of some sort. This is truly what I love the most about the holiday season. One of my favorite holiday traditions growing up was getting to pick out a new outfit for Christmas Eve services.
Being a preacher's daughter, my dad was always working on Christmas Eve so that's how we would spend the night before Christmas. Church service would usually be followed by some sort of dinner and cookies and Christmas jammies.
I may be more than halfway to 26, but there's still something about picking out a Christmas Eve outfit that I still love.
Sweater || Target || Skirt || J. Crew Factory || Shoes || Marc Fisher Pump in Light Nude Patent Leather
I have been blowing you guys up with these Bishop Sleeve Sweaters from Target. I seriously wish they would restock these guys and in more colors because they are THAT good. I'm wearing an XS here for reference. While these babies are hard to come by these days, I've linked some similar ones below for y'all.
The color of this Bishop Sleeve Sweater pairs perfectly with this plaid wrap skirt from J. Crew. I wish I had sized down another size because it is a little big in the waist, in case you were wondering about sizing. Not only do these two items pair perfectly together but I can also see myself wearing them separately on many different occasions. If you follow me on Instagram then you already know that this red sweater has more than made its appearance over there.
The shoes I chose for this outfit are Marc Fisher and they are the first pair I've ever bought from this brand. Y'all, they are incredible! Super comfortable and easy to walk in which is exactly what I was looking for when I picked these up with another occasion in mind.
