Instagram Round Up + Friday Favorites Link Up with Lizzie in Lace

Hey there everyone! Today's blog post is another new one around these parts. I've been up to my eyeballs in boxes and unpacking and getting this house in order that I haven't really had time to get into a blogging routine yet but I promise some really amazing content is coming your way. BUT today's post is super exciting because I'm collaborating with Lizzie in Lace, a seriously amazing petite fashion blogger, to co-host her Friday Favorites Link Up! I'm so excited to be working with a blogger I've seriously admired for years so I hope Y'all are as excited about this as I am! 

I've had a couple people reach out to me about certain outfits that I've been rocking on Instagram lately so I wanted to throw a quick Instagram Roundup into this post! I promise I'm working on making my Instagram looks easier to shop and I can't wait to reveal the new website in July when The AM Coffee Collective officially launches! Until then, I hope this answers some of the questions I've gotten about what I've been wearing as well as sizing information!

Today we went to get my spouse ID card and it didn’t quite go as smoothly as I wanted 😂 But it was a learning lesson for all involved and we walked out of there with an ID that had my new name on it! I could have not asked her to check, could have not argued about whether or not that was a thing they could do now without my social security card but I persisted and it turns out that the regulation has actually changed. 💛 Why am I telling you this? Because before we left the woman who was helping us, a military spouse herself of 31 years, said to me: “Don’t ever stop being a spitfire, especially as a military spouse.” 💛 There is a balance in knowing when to press forward, when to argue and fight back, when to pursue a dream, and when to fall back. I’m so glad God uses these simple ways to remind me of the season of life I’m in. Y'all know I've been raving about these mom jeans forever now so I won't talk much about them other than to say definitely go by the Topshop size information when you're ordering a pair of these jeans. I actually think these are a 32 which is definitely not my typical size. These jeans have only gotten better the more I've worn them and while I love them, I can't wait to switch them out  for Mom jean shorts here in Georgia.  The top, however, is a cute little number I picked up at Target after seeing it on so many blogger Instagrams. I chose to size up to a medium for a more relaxed fit and I love the ruffle detail on the arms. This top looks so cute with jeans or shorts! 

We’re out, about, and ready to take on our new town! But first: a stop at Firestone to replace a brake pad that decided to go out on our trek from New York to Georgia 😂 Hey, that was the worst thing that happened so I’m not really complaining. On another note, this outfit appeared on the blog on Friday and this dress is currently on sale and under $50!! I wrote an entire post dedicated to this festive frock last weekend. I can't wait to put this baby on for a BBQ and some fireworks, like maybe this weekend when we go to Fort Benning's Independence Day Celebration! I actually think this dress is so perfect for this Georgia weather that I may pick it up in a couple different patterns. I also can't get enough of this statement earring trend so if you have a go-to place for yours, let a girl know!

The first two weeks of marriage have looked a lot like this: Blasting music and having random dance parties while packing box after box Playing arcade games at the movie theatre Giggling uncontrollably after we butt heads over something silly Cuddling on the floor in the living room when we get sick of sitting in separate chairs I am so happy to be building this foundation for our family. DRESS | floral tiered maxi dress (similar) |

I am obsessed with this floral maxi dress I wore to our friends' wedding at the beginning of June and it has definitely become my go-to maxi dress. It's sold out in the green but I love the blue color that I've linked above. I'm wearing an XS here which was a little tight across the chest for me but it was the only one that was available in store so I made it work. Throw this baby on with a pair of wedges and you're good to go for anything from date night to wedding guest!
