If there is anyone who deserves to be spoiled for Christmas, it’s new moms. Whether you’re shopping for you BFF who is a new mama or a new mom yourself who’s trying to come up with a Christmas list to send to family, this guide is for you! We’re talking all things MOM in this post and I’ve got over 15 ideas here, many that have been my personal favorites to receive as a new mom or gift as a new mom. Some are even recommendations from the mamas in the Made in Mom Jeans community! I hope these gifts help ya cross off a few new mamas on your list this year!
A few notable ideas:
A Meal Kit Delivery Service - Now that I’ve been a mom for nearly 19 months, one of the best things I can recommend for new mamas is a meal kit delivery service. Some weeks it’s just nice to know that you don’t have to worry about meal planning and dragging the baby and yourself to the grocery store at least once. Justin and I absolutely LOVED HelloFresh the year and a half we used it and have been anxiously awaiting the time when we no longer live in Alaska and can sign up again. There are plenty of different meal kit delivery services out there so I would check around with your friends and family to see what their favorites have been and perhaps browse their websites to find out who has the best signup deals. Have a friend that just had a baby recently? This is the perfect welcome home gift for those first few weeks. Still expecting? Purchase a gift card for the new mama to redeem once she’s had her baby!
Hair and Nail gift certificates - The number one response when I asked the moms in the MIMJ community what they wanted for Christmas as a new mama was time and money to get their hair and nails done. As a new mom, it is so hard to make time to take care of yourself and our personal appearance is often the first thing that goes out the window. If there’s a new mom in your life, make her day by getting her a gift certificate for her favorite salons. Better yet, make her an appointment and hire a baby sitter or offer to watch the baby yourself! Husbands, this is a great idea for you!
Chatbooks Subscription - We have been using the Chatbooks subscription service since Jasper was born and it is one of my top favorites every year! At $10 every 60 photos, this is a great idea for those of you who have a new mom in your life but maybe on a tight budget. There are a few ways to gift this subscription from giving a gift card to helping them set up the app with your Paypal in order to pay for it monthly. Want to gift it to yourself? Use the code DARRIAN-WKQ4 to get your first book FREE (up to $10).
TULA Beauty Skin Essentials Routine Kit - You guys know I’ve talked about TULA Beauty products basically all year (you can read my reviews here and here). This TULA skin essentials kit is a great gift option for new moms, especially one that needs a little kick in the butt to take better care of her skin (guilty!). This kit has all of my favorite products including the primer! Plus, the items are full-sized making this kit a STEAL of a deal for the holidays. Add this to my list!

New Mom Holiday Gift Guide
Barefoot Dreams Cardigan - One of my favorite gifts to both give and receive is a high quality, cozy cardigan. You know the ones I’m talking about, the ones the person would never buy for themselves but you absolutely know they would wear it all the time. That’s why this Barefoot Dreams Cardigan is first up on this list for new moms. The coziness level of this cardigan is unmatched. I was skeptical until I thrifted my own a few months ago.
Bracha Initial Necklace - At $52 this initial necklace is a great middle of the price range gift for a friend or family member who has a new baby. Personalized jewelry was all the rage last year and this year it seems to be sharing the spotlight with initialed items. I love the size and design of this necklace. It’s dainty enough to be dressed up or down and classically designed so the new mom in your life can wear it over and over again.
Instant Pot Combo Pressure Cooker and Air Fryer - I wouldn’t have survived the last 18 months without our Instant Pot. If there’s a mom on your list who doesn’t have one, this is a no brainer. I love that this updated version includes an air frying feature because why have a million kitchen appliances when you could just have one? A great combo for this gift would be to include a cookbook of Instant Pot recipes!
Yeti 14oz. Rambler Mug - The insulated Yeti mug was my favorite gift from 2019 that I personally received and is a must for any mom in your life, especially with all of the stay-at-home chaos that has come with 2020. These mugs are incredible affordable and make a great gift. They come in a wide range of colors and can be easily personalized through vinyl stickers available on Etsy.
iRobot Sweeping and Mopping Robot - We got this exact iRobot for a wedding present and it has saved my life more than a few times since Jasper was born. I love the sweep and mop feature so it’s great for a quick clean up! Plus, now that Jasper is older it has provided hours of bonus entertainment and distractions for our toddler.
Personalized Letter Necklace - Like I mentioned, personalized necklaces are still a hugely popular gift idea and I love this one from Etsy shop Grace Personalized. There are multiple different ways to customize a necklace in this shop from dual strand names to initials of every kid and so many more. If you’re looking for some sort of personalized jewelry, I highly recommend browsing this shop which has over 200,000 sales.
TULA Instant Facial Dual-Phase Skin Reviving Treatment Pads - If you’ve been around the blog for any length of time then you already know how much I love and rave about TULA products. While I haven’t personally used these Instant Facial treatment pads, they’re definitely on my own 2020 Wish List. These treatment pads would be a great edition to a self-care basket put together for any new mom in your life.
Women's Ugg Scuffette II Slipper - One of my favorite purchases for my hospital bag when I was pregnant with Jasper were my Ugg slippers. They’ve truly come in handy during this first year and a half of motherhood. While I love the version I purchased back then, I’m also eyeing this version which is much easier to slip on for a mom on the go. Available in 6 different colors!
Fujifilm X UO Custom Color Instax Wide 300 Instant Camera - I love having an instant camera lying around and this one is so freaking adorable I couldn’t pass up putting it on this list and probably a few others as well. A great option for moms who love to take photos but never actually print them off their phone!
Revlon One-Step Volumizer Hair Dryer - The Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer is one of my holy grail beauty items. Not only is this hair dryer insanely affordable but I can give myself an at-home, salon quality blow out in like 10 minutes. I’m not kidding! Here’s a blog post I wrote all about the Revlon One-Step Volumizer Hair Dryer when I purchased it during my first pregnancy. This is a great gift option for a new mom, especially one that loves to feel put together on a daily basis.
Barefoot Dreams Blanket - On a similar vein to the Barefoot Dreams Cardigan, I just couldn’t end this gift guide without suggesting an ultra cozy blanket as well. If you follow any influencer, these blankets are all the rage and they do make an excellent gift.
