Blundstone High-Top Boots
Alaska, man. It went from being 60-70 and beautiful to like 30-50 with a nip in the air in like.. two days. I’m so thankful that my mom “sent” me my Christmas present early in the form of these boots. I first found Blundstone boots while scrolling through Pinterest and if you check out my Personal Style board, you’ll see I have them pinned a lot. I have such a hard time finding shoes that fit me correctly between my small feet and big calves so I was getting really disheartened with the winter boot hunt when literally every pair of Sorrel boots I tried on were major fails. Until I tried the Blundstone Hight-Top Boots on. They fit like a glove and I’ve worn them nearly everyday since purchasing them two weeks ago. They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn and they were super easy to break in. I think it took maybe three days total. They’ve kept my feet warm and dry in these changing temps and I love the way they look styled with everything in my current wardrobe. If you’re looking for a good boot that can handle winter weather but also a great year-round option, definitely check out Blundstone!
Baby Care Play Mat
If you’re a new mom and haven’t purchased a playmate for your baby yet, skip the fabric ones and grab this one instead! While I loved our SkipHop activity gym I so wish we would have saved the $100 we spent on that to buy this and a wooden activity gym instead. This baby care play mat is the best baby item we’ve purchased so far. It’s cushioned and thick enough that I don’t have to worry about Jasper falling over and hitting his head on the hard floor, it wipes clean easily because it is a rubber like material, it looks great with our home decor, and I don’t have to worry about the fact that it’s in a high traffic area where the dogs often go. It’s also reversible! I cannot say enough good things about this mat so if you’re a new mom or expecting, definitely grab this for your home! We have the medium size and it’s the perfect amount of playroom for Jasper (more than his other activity gym) but still leaves enough room for us to get around.
Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
Turns out, I’m 100% that bitch and I have no shame. I live for Pumpkin Spice season. I was at Starbucks the day the PSL’s were released this season. Except instead of getting a PSL, I’ve been living off of their Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. I swear it is like everything good bout pumpkin pie in a coffee cup. It was so good I even licked the lid the first time I had it. Based on the response from this Instagram photo, y’all love it just as much as I do.
Fall Decor
I didn't really get to decorate for fall last year because pregnancy had me barely able to get off the couch so this year I was so ready when the fall decor started coming out. Joanne Fabrics and Michaels’s had some great deals and I got a few items at Walmart as well. The amber bottles are actually from Health Aide Kombucha bottles I was drinking when I was fighting off that nasty cold. I love repurposing items we already have like that. The picture frames are all ones we had from our wedding, I didn’t even switch the photos in them. I love the way these shelves frame the TV and I’m excited to add the finishing touch that came in the mail this week so that our living room can officially be considered done!
