AM Coffee Talk #06 - Pregnancy Announcements + Star Wars

It seems like just yesterday I was sitting in a hotel room in Philadelphia writing this post for y'all and dreaming about another Army win (which we got!!!). The way that time passes is seriously astonishing to me and if you saw me Instagram Hemingway this week, then you'll know I completely forgot that Christmas is literally right around the corner. Anyone else think there was another week in between?

Speaking of Christmas, we all know that I have been all caps OBSESSED with that white sweater from Target. Well, I recently got it in red and it is just as perfect as the first one! I sized down to an XS in order to get it and I'm so happy with the way it fits. This statement sleeve sweater is the perfect color for holiday parties. I actually wore it to my office luncheon on Tuesday! Keep an eye on the blog because you know I'll be doing a full on dedicated outfit post for this baby.

ONE || This blog post

Shanae is probably one of the sweetest people I have never had the pleasure of meeting IRL but I am so so so glad we connected through the R. Riveter Brand Ambassador program. Her husband is a West Point grad so we have a lot in common, right down to meeting our significant others on Tinder! She wrote this super inspiring post on her blog this week and it actually brought me to tears so I knew that it had to be the first thing I shared with you all this weekend. (Also, there's going to be a theme of crying in this post so... you've been warned).

TWO || This pregnancy announcement

If you don't know, Justin and I have a vlog channel! We are actually picking back up the vlog camera as of yesterday and are so excited to get back into it. We have had the pleasure of connecting with and following other vloggers as they share their struggles and nothing has been more heartbreaking than that of Rachelle and Justin. They are a Navy family who recently experienced the loss of a child. Warning: grab the tissues because this video WILL make you bawl your eyes out.

THREE || Another West Point video...

Sorry, not sorry, I'm still on a high from Army beating Navy last week. West Point released another incredible video about bringing home the Commander In Chief's Trophy for the first time since 1996.

FOUR || This Ikea couch

There was a brief moment this week where I thought we were going to have to replace our couch sooner than anticipated. It's a long story that has to do with Gatsby being mad at me for some reason or another! Anyways, I am loving this couch from Ikea. I have seen it all over Pinterest in various farmhouse inspiration pins and I can't wait to actually get my hands on it.

FIVE || Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Justin and I saw Star Wars: The Last Jedi last night and all I can say is that this franchise continues to amaze me. Just when you think you know where the storyline is going, the twist and turn it in order to keep you guessing. Also, can we talk about how cute the little arctic fox animals were at the end?
