Y'all LOVE when I get on Insta Story and do a try on haul so I figured I should also start sharing some of my favorites over here on the blog as well for those of you who may not follow me on Instagram yet (which like, why the heck are you not already?!). I am particularly excited to share my latest Insta Story Try On Haul with you guys because it featured some really great pieces from Target's new line, Universal Thread.
Universal Thread is a denim line that Target launched last week and features jeans starting at $24.99 and signature closet staples under $30. Plus, the line includes a wide variety of size options including plus size, as well as long and short lengths. *Praise hand emojis* I knew immediately that I needed to get my hands on as much of the line as I could to test it out so I took to the internet and placed my order! Four packages later, here's what we got:
Universal Thread Women's Paper Bag Waist Shorts
Universal Thread Women's High Rise Wide Leg Jeans
Universal Thread Women's High Rise Straight Jeans
Universal Thread Women's High-Rise Released Hem Skinny Jeans
I'm very picky about my jeans. I typically gravitate to J. Crew Factory for my jeans because I know they fit and I know that they're good quality. But Y'all, Target went above and beyond for this denim line. The jeans are SO SOFT. I don't think I've ever felt a pair of jeans as soft as these. And for the most part, I found the Universal Thread lines fits pretty true to size. I ordered a 6 in every item and they all fit damn near perfectly (I need to exchange the last pair for a 6 short but anyways).
I am obsessed with the Universal Thread wide leg jeans. Never in a million years did I think I would be strutting my stuff in wide leg jeans but the Target Universal Thread line has proved me absolutely wrong! I can't wait to shoot them for a look coming to the blog real soon.
Items I'm on the fence about: The Universal Thread paper bag shorts and the Universal Thread straight leg, mom-type jeans. The straight leg jeans don't come in short lengths for some reason and they definitely don't look the same on me as they do the model because of the length. I might have to keep searching for the perfect mom jean. The paper bag shorts are one of those things that are really cute but also you're not sure that they work on you. I'm not sure if I need a size down or what.
Have you purchased anything from the Target Universal Thread line yet?
